Hello from Düsseldorf

    Hi everyone,


    I am Jay, 29 years old, originally from China, and I live in Düsseldorf now. I started practicing naturism two or three years ago after I came to Germany - seeing all the FKK places here made me intrigued.


    Really happy to find this site that is aimed at a younger audience. Would love to get in touch especially if you are in the region (but perhaps my profile is not yet visible since I am new).


    I also have a suggestion for this website: it might be a good idea to incorporate a Google Translate button or the like for forum posts. I see there are many interesting discussions happening in the German-language section. My German is not that good yet, and while I can always use an online translator, I am afraid that the nuance might get lost in translation when it comes to more complex thoughts. It would be better to be able to write my thoughts directly in English and for people who do not read English to have a translate button right there in the post. To other international people, what do you guys think about this?

    Hallo and welcome in Germany and in this Forum. :) The idea with the Button is good maybe with the app Deepl, the best translator app. :)

    ah yes, I also use DeepL sometimes. I like that I can easily swap out words in the translated sentences (at least this is the case for the website version of it). I would just be really happy if there is a translate button, from whichever provider that is the easiest to integrate into this website :)

    Concerning your tranlation topic:

    On my desktop i use the Firefox browser.

    Within Firefox you can load various tranlation add-ins to translate a word, paragrph or a complete page.

    On my Android phone i use the Chrome browser. It provides a translate button.

    Perhaps this is a way to go.

    Yes, I know haha, thank you for trying to help. I use the Chrome browser and its build-in translation function.


    My suggestion was more so that a translate button on the forum would serve as an official signal that it is okay to post in another language. Otherwise, it feels kind of rude to write a post in English in a German-language discussion thread (maybe some people don't have or don't know how to use the translation function in their browser).

    Unser Admin Kalle ist derzeit leider gesundheitlich ausgefallen, sodass eine schnelle technische Umsetzung eher unwahrscheinlich ist.
