I was in this store where all things are one price, no matter what, and this person came up to the clerk and asked how much an item was. If everything is one price, then how can there be any question. People are dumb.

They are like that in every store though. I work in one, and I get asked stupid questions the entire time I'm there. For instance, "Where are your shoes?"

"We don't sell shoes"

"Why not?!"

"This is a pharmacy."

"What do you sell then?"

I've had that one a couple times. The worst are the people who call the store and ask if we sell something and then how much it costs. I generally am rude to them and stick them on hold until somebody else answers the question. I am a cashier, so I usually have people who are actually in the store in line and waiting for me to check them out. Seriously, if you want to go through your entire shopping list and price out every brand of every item possible, come in the store and somebody will be glad to help you. I don't mind answering one or two questions, but come on...

That's enough for my rant for now.

Everyone in sales get this one, " Do you work here?" No, I just wear this uniform with the store name on it for fun and the name tag in not even mine. DUH of course I work here, I was the one who asked if I could help you first. I once had a women I mixed paint for and carried it to the check out for, then she asked me if I worked there? Why the heck would I be mixing paint for you if I did not work here. "Smack up-side the head." I of course did not say that, I said " Yes I do". Another time a women asked me if we sold Bra's here, I told her we did that even lead her to the area were they are. Then she asks me if we have them for women? I was like, "...yeah..? ". What, since when did they start making Bra's for guys? People are stupid!!

The eye exam:

Dr.: Please read the eyechart
Patient: I can't read the eyechart without my glasses.
Dr.: Ok, then put your glasses on
Patient: I can't. They're at home and without them, I can't see anytihing.
Dr.: Then how did you get here?
Patient: By car.
Dr.: Oh, someone else drove?
Patient: No. I drove myself
(Dr. thinks that he is glad that he wasn't on the road anywhere near this patient while she was driving in, a patient who cannot see anything without her glasses.)

THAT's dumb.....AND dangerous.

well as some working in retail, even it it says in right over the product, people will still ask! and yes the do u work here one jeeze!
altho saying that, once i was in a store where things were supposed to be the ame price and yet they varied, so i dunno...
