Sauna in your home country

Hye,

The situation in France concerning Sauna is following. Naturist clubs have to meet a Sauna 2 hours a week to propose to they members a nude sauna bathing. The rest of the time sauna in textile.

To access the site while naturist hours you have to be part of the club or a naturist club in the country which generally don't accept single males. This makes it impossible for lot of interested younger sauna fans to sweat in the nude.

Of course you have swinger clubs where it's possible to go but that's not necessarily where naturists go.

As far as I know the sauna areas in germany are natuist. Very few must be the exception.

I just wonder how it is abroad.

See ya

Hi Philemon!

WHAT THE FUCK? :D

I couldn't go into a sauna while dressed... that just doesn't feel "right" :)

Think about visiting a German sauna!

Allthough we have hundreds of nude beaches in Croatia, there is now naturist sauna. I think few years ago there was one, but only older people where there.

in sweden we have a lot of saunas .. but all of them are divided to male and female sections

there is usually one sauna on each side of locker room next to some indoor pool or any other activity that requires showering.

clothes in sauna is seem as a bad manner ..

a towel should be used to sit on

Sauna in Germany is very popular. No clothes, of course. I wouldn't go into a textile sauna, you can get health trouble on spots where clothes press the overheated body, and if it isn't heated enough, there is (almost) no sense in going to sauna.
Most of them are mixed, but some have separate areas for men and women, some for ladies only. Smaller spas often separate on different days (for example, men Tuesdays, women on Fridays, other days mixed).

At the local gym, there's a sauna where men can be nude. Other than that, there are relatively few saunas in my area...which is strange since England is a country that has awful weather.

Are you sure that this is the only reason to come to germany at all ?!?!

If there aren´t any saunas in kansas what about clothing optional or clothing free bathing areas or sth else?

Of course that wasn't the only reason to come here, I didn't say that. :D
And no, no optional clothing or anything. I guess people there are just way too prude.

We had, in our area, a lovely clothes optional camping groung with a sauna that all could use. The camp was sold to an american who immediately stopped the nudity and won't allow anyone to visit just to use the sauna. He reason for banning nudity..... he was woriied that children may see a naked person and their parents may sue him. that may be the american way but here down under we enjoy our nudity.

Understatement Dave, they never will understand either!
Even UK Naturists dont understand because they arent necessarily that free minded.

I have never seen a nude sauna in real life. We just don't have that many in the states.
